Diagnostic pathways
- Manual pressure test: connect mechanical gauge (min 0.5 bar idle, >2.5 bar @2000rpm).
- Resistance check switch: normally closed, opens at 0.3-0.6 bar.
- Inspect wiring harness near oil filter housing – chafing.
