6.0.1 diagnostic strategy parallels
McLaren P1 uses a decentralised CAN/Flexray architecture. Code U0293 (lost comms with hybrid) – same troubleshooting as Mitsubishi Fuso eCanter. HV contactor welding (code P0AA6) – identical repair path to Kia Niro. Use insulated gloves and follow same OEM service disconnect procedures. The P1 also stores freeze frame data exactly like a Ford Mondeo.
